FOODRECIPES

This blushing martini pairs the ripe, juicy sweetness of fresh strawberries with the subtle, aromatic lift of rose water. It's brightened with lemon, gently sweetened with simple syrup, and strained into a chilled coupe for a zero-proof drink that feels effortlessly luxurious. Refreshing, romantic, and not too sweet, this is the mocktail you serve when you want something that feels like a celebration.
Ingredients
3–4 fresh ripe strawberries, hulled (about 60g)
15 ml (1 tbsp) lemon juice, freshly squeezed
30 ml (2 tbsp) rose water–infused simple syrup*
Ice
1 fresh strawberry, halved or whole, for garnish
Instructions
In a cocktail shaker, muddle the strawberries with lemon juice until fully broken down and juicy.
Add the rose simple syrup and a handful of ice.
Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds, then double strain into a chilled glass to remove pulp and seeds.
Garnish with a halved or whole strawberry on a cocktail pick.
Serve immediately and enjoy the garden-party vibes in a glass.
Notes
To make rose simple syrup: Combine 1 part sugar, 1 part water, and 1 tsp rose water. Stir until dissolved. Chill before mixing into your mocktail.
