Ghirardelli is welcoming the holidays with a new flavor that draws inspiration from Dubai’s dessert culture. The limited-edition Dubai Style Chocolate combines smooth milk chocolate with a pistachio filling and crisp kataifi for a layered bite that feels unexpected yet familiar.
The idea started with Ghirardelli’s Dubai Style Chocolate Sundae (just slightly more indulgent than the San Francisco chocolatier's hot fudge sundae), which appeared earlier this year at pop-up events and quickly sold out at retail locations. The success of that dessert sparked the creation of this new praline, designed to capture the same textures and flavors in a more portable form.
Each piece features a milk chocolate shell filled with a creamy pistachio center and strands of shredded kataifi pastry, offering a mix of sweetness, crunch, and nuttiness that reflects the Middle Eastern influence behind the concept.
Bobby Oliver, Ghirardelli’s Vice President of Marketing, said the new flavor highlights both creativity and craftsmanship. “Each bite of our GHIRARDELLI Dubai Style Chocolate features a smooth milk chocolate shell with an added layer of crispy texture, encasing a luscious pistachio filling layered with finely shredded kataifi,” he remarked.
The chocolates are individually wrapped, making them easy to share or include in holiday gifting. They’re available in a 4-ounce bag for $13.95, as well as larger gift bundles and a 50-count Dubai Style Chocolate Gift Box priced at $75, offered exclusively online.

Ghirardelli’s Dubai Style Chocolates are available exclusively on Ghirardelli.com beginning October 14, 2025. They’ll appear in Ghirardelli Chocolate Shops soon after, with broader retail availability expected in November.
